2014

2014

We start another year of more changes, but to start Danny was still in Boise and coming home most every weekend. Joscie still at Olympus and on the last semester of her Bachelors degree! Graduated from the U FINALLY! Then that summer hit me like a ton of brick get a Masters degree.... oh and still camp director.... Finally! Kenz started dating Cason last July and they got serious….HAHA Married June 18! She continued school at the U. Ethan stated senior year then cam cross country at the start of her Junior year. Ethan started his senior year planning to swim and then changed his mind and walked away to play water polo. Meg started her Junior year running cross country and then playing softball. Keats during all the craziness did not get overlooked even if she might have felt like it she finished 8th grade and started 9th grade. Only playing Lacrosse which was FANATIC I love watching her play! To finish out 2014 I started feeling like we needed to make a change Danny had been looking for work and nothing.... I saw a posting for part time night position at the church and thought why not its just a few hours a week and could get me out of the house while Danny was gone. No idea what this crazy move would lead to! And last thing for 2014 Megan had to have surgery to get a lymph node out as she had swollen ones for most of the year.... Came back some what normal showing she had an auto immune issue.

2013

2013
Danny still in Boise it was still stressful, but he at least kept a good attitude and came home every weekend. Another tender mercy was he liked his job and living with his mom Joyce’s cousins Ruth. The kids loved when he got home. Joscie was still working and going to school getting close to her Bachelor’s degree. Kenz finished her senior season and went onto sectionals; By this time Kenz is starting college which was supposed to be with a swim scholarship but that fell through and she ended up at the UU Ethan finished his sophomore season doing a great job while getting his brain to heal. TBI does cause anger and outburst we got to see these, but also taught us all more patients. Meg was playing soft ball her team did not do as good she still kept a positive attitude and found other things to keep her going, basketball,

2012

Over the last few months, I have had a strong feeling that I need to blog again. I thought I would start with getting caught up on what has been going on the and would wrap up the last decade.

2012
Started the year out with another cruise everyone loved going together! Western Caribbean! The year things started to change! Danny found out in August that SLC Darigold was closing he was offered a position on Boise. We felt it was a good change and he took the position. Excited for the change we started making plans to move. Then it all changed! September 2012 right before Kenz 18 birthday and days into her senior year her and Ethan got in a car accident! Eth was in the start of his sophomore year and literally in a few seconds it all changed. He needed over 200 stitches to his face and we found out the next day he had a TBI (traumatic brain injury). Kenz had a concussion and both needed extra help that first semester. Little to say the Neurologist said we should not move Eth. A very frustrating time! Because Guess who had also follow the promoting to go back to school..... Yes that would be Joscie! I look back and wonder how we ever survived this time.... Danny working in Boise, Joscie working and going to school. Kenzie determined to finish her senior year in swim and she did, Ethan his sophomore year and he did great, but the neck pains and learning suddenly changed (we can thank Grammy for getting him through school). Megan played her Freshman year of softball and did Fantastic! They wound state! This was the funniest year she played. Keats was doing Cheerleading and Lacrosse at this time and kept very busy. Looking back, it was crazy, but it was preparing us for so much more! Danny and I had our marriage get stronger than ever (don’t get me wrong it is not perfect, but it works for us, he is always there to support me and I am for him)
