What else do I do but kids? and then add knee surgery!

So what else do I do besides write about my great kids, yes I know I am a proud mom!!! but what mom isn't!! We have been busy as usual, but then I finally figured ok I am going to get this knee fixed that has been nothing but problems for awhile!! Now try doing that and being a mom and working, guess what it does not work!!! I am so far behind on everything and feeling overwhelemed, but I will get through it I always do. The kids have been good but their version of clean and mine are two very different things!!
The kids have been so much fun here is a shock there was another swim meet but this time up in Logan the girls did GREAT Keaton took 5th place in 9 and unders she was so cute and did so well!! Kenz did awsome to she got 9th over all I know this sounds like we are proud of the kids doing ok, but really her age group is considered 14-99 so she did good, swimming is just one of those sports that seems strange. Ethan on the other hand shocked me he came home from school about a week ago and told me he is student of the month, not that he is a bad kid he is not at all but if you know him you know that he loves to tease and tourment...I will leave it at that, he is so much fun to be around and as a reward for student of the month we are having a mom and son date and he requested a Jazz game so I got tickets for us as a surprise and when he got his award at school last friday I let him know which game we are going to and he is excited we got the Jazz vs Lakers. And my Megs she is so cute and just loves her cousins and can not seem to get enough of them or her Grammy! she is getting ready for Softbal season to start and they have started practicing again and she has been working on her catching that she just loves (she even got a new catchers mit and was bouncing aroung the house she was so excited).

I am greatful for the help they have been, and I need to learn their version of clean is ok!! and I am thankful for all the help I have gotten from a number of people with my knee surgery, it was alot worse than I thought but now starting therapy it seem to be doing better!!! So thanks to everyone that helped!!!

What we have been up to!

We had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season and enjoyed spending time with the kids! They got some fun stuff for Christmas like Rock Band etc.. and have had fun playing these games with the kids! We gave them a trip to Disneyland and went in January and had a wonderful week with the kids and spending time with them! It was also Ethan's 12th birthday that is hard to believe that is has been 12 years since he was born! I am so grateful to have 4 fun and great kids ans enjoy spending time with them and watching them grow up!! Danny and I got the kids to go on every ride atleast 1 time and even if they had been scared they ended up liking the ride in the end, we went to Seaworld one day and the kids got to feed the dolphins etc...on the way back to LA we stopped in LaJolla and saw where kenz goes to swim camp during the summer. It really was a fun trip!!! now we have had to get back to the real world, well sort of, I finally got my knee fixed on Thursday and am hoping that it will work and can start running again!

Crazy December

I dont have any pictures but wanted to give an update...Sports are sort of calming down for a bit Ethan is now playing basketball and wow he is good!!! He doesnt play againg until January, Megan is also playing Basketball with her softball team but they also don't play for another month so for us all that we have really had is swimmimg, Keaton is doing amazing for this little 8 year old fish she set a new team record!!! and Kenz is having the best short coarse season she has ever had, she has qualified for the junior olympics in 5 events!!! she has made it before in younger age groups in 1 or 2 events but 5 this is a first, and in things she has never made before, she is qualified in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 back, 100 butterfly, 200 IM (I hope you all remember these events from tht summer olympics thanks to Micheal Phelps) she has the potential for 4 more events that she is very close to!!!

I am so proud of these kids they amaze me all the time even with doing 1 sport each they can all keep their grades up Kenz is in honors and get a 4.0 most quarters the others are still elementary so no gpa.

We did have a scare with Megs last week she woke up on Monday with a horrible stomach ache that the Dr's couldnt figure out and we ended up seeing a Dr that we normally dont see that finally figured out what was wrong, she has a bacteria that she got when she was little from So CA (food poisoning) that has been causing havoc in her tummy for years and finally caused a lot of prolems the poor kid was on IV for 3 days but she still managed to keep up on all her homework!!!

Anyway that is about it for the short update...hahaha hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!!

Update

So it has once again be sometime since I have done any updating on my Blog, I just added some picture of the cruise that my friend got married on and I was the Maid of Honor...it was a blast and very nice to get away for a week. We have been pretty busy as usual,Ethan has taken the fall off from sport (weird)and there has been a break from softball that has been nice for me, but Megs is missing it... Kenz and Keats have been doing a few swim meet and Grammy even took them to her first one where she got to be involved and had a blast with the kids all week... thanks for the help mom!!! We went and took some new pictures of the kids and I can not believe how old they are looking, Wow does time ever fly!!! It has been a good Thanksgiving and thankful for my great kids Ethan and I put the lights up on the house! and Megs and Keats did the stuff on the ground outside, they can be so good(when they want to)but anyway I am very thankful for them they do bring alot of joy to my life....

West Jordan Women in Business

I have been part of an amazing group of women, we are part of the West Jordan Chamber and have been hosting lunches helping in the community etc...I have been with this board for almost 2 years and love it and have made some great friends!!! We had our annual witches lunch today and I thought you would all love to see these amazing women in our real clothes (HAHAHAH)

Mesquite Tournament

Once again we have softball pictures, the girls went and played in a tournament in Mesquite this past weekend, they did really GREAT and once again took 3rd place. It was lots of fun to watch such a great group of kids play softball, Meg has been practing catching and caught all 6 games that they played over the weekend and then came back on Monday and caught for 2 more games. I have to say these girls are doing amazing they are all hitting the ball and playing great!!!!
