Crazy December

I dont have any pictures but wanted to give an update...Sports are sort of calming down for a bit Ethan is now playing basketball and wow he is good!!! He doesnt play againg until January, Megan is also playing Basketball with her softball team but they also don't play for another month so for us all that we have really had is swimmimg, Keaton is doing amazing for this little 8 year old fish she set a new team record!!! and Kenz is having the best short coarse season she has ever had, she has qualified for the junior olympics in 5 events!!! she has made it before in younger age groups in 1 or 2 events but 5 this is a first, and in things she has never made before, she is qualified in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 back, 100 butterfly, 200 IM (I hope you all remember these events from tht summer olympics thanks to Micheal Phelps) she has the potential for 4 more events that she is very close to!!!

I am so proud of these kids they amaze me all the time even with doing 1 sport each they can all keep their grades up Kenz is in honors and get a 4.0 most quarters the others are still elementary so no gpa.

We did have a scare with Megs last week she woke up on Monday with a horrible stomach ache that the Dr's couldnt figure out and we ended up seeing a Dr that we normally dont see that finally figured out what was wrong, she has a bacteria that she got when she was little from So CA (food poisoning) that has been causing havoc in her tummy for years and finally caused a lot of prolems the poor kid was on IV for 3 days but she still managed to keep up on all her homework!!!

Anyway that is about it for the short update...hahaha hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!!

Update

So it has once again be sometime since I have done any updating on my Blog, I just added some picture of the cruise that my friend got married on and I was the Maid of Honor...it was a blast and very nice to get away for a week. We have been pretty busy as usual,Ethan has taken the fall off from sport (weird)and there has been a break from softball that has been nice for me, but Megs is missing it... Kenz and Keats have been doing a few swim meet and Grammy even took them to her first one where she got to be involved and had a blast with the kids all week... thanks for the help mom!!! We went and took some new pictures of the kids and I can not believe how old they are looking, Wow does time ever fly!!! It has been a good Thanksgiving and thankful for my great kids Ethan and I put the lights up on the house! and Megs and Keats did the stuff on the ground outside, they can be so good(when they want to)but anyway I am very thankful for them they do bring alot of joy to my life....

West Jordan Women in Business

I have been part of an amazing group of women, we are part of the West Jordan Chamber and have been hosting lunches helping in the community etc...I have been with this board for almost 2 years and love it and have made some great friends!!! We had our annual witches lunch today and I thought you would all love to see these amazing women in our real clothes (HAHAHAH)

Mesquite Tournament

Once again we have softball pictures, the girls went and played in a tournament in Mesquite this past weekend, they did really GREAT and once again took 3rd place. It was lots of fun to watch such a great group of kids play softball, Meg has been practing catching and caught all 6 games that they played over the weekend and then came back on Monday and caught for 2 more games. I have to say these girls are doing amazing they are all hitting the ball and playing great!!!!

Park City Swim....

So as you can see we had a swim meet up in Park City, this is the start of Kenzie's
5th year of swimming and she is doing AMAZING!! she is hitting times that she has made goals for the end of the season and it is only the 1st meet of this year!

Now onto our new little swimmer Keaton started swimming this last summer, she has been enjoying it. After some influnce from friends (Kailen) and mom she agreed to do the swim meet this weekend and she did GREAT!!! She was so proud of her self and all that she talked about at dinner was that she got 2nd place in the 50 freestyle (this is just out of her group of 8 swimmers) but to her she got 2nd and who am I to tell her any different, she really did do very well she is only 8 and swims against 10 year olds.

It was a great and fun meet, and all the kids on our SWAT swim team did great and thanks to all the older kids who helped to make sure the new little ones made their races, this really is a great team and WOW we had 59 swimmers at this meet, when I first started coaching at this team we had been lucky to get maybe 15 out, so go SWAT!!!!!

Crazy Kids

So yes I know it has been a MONTH since I have done a post but life has been crazy, but what do you expect when you have 4 kids.....but I did put 2 slide shows together so you can see some of what we have been doing.

Softball Tournament

So this weekend got to be an adventure?!?!? Megan had a softball tournament that started on Thursday and went to Saturday. They started bracketing by losing the first game that in turn sent them to the Losers Bracket and they had to battle back to win 5 games in a row and take 3rd place!!! this has to be the most amazing girls that I think that I have been around!! They REALLY do work as a team and have fun together!!! With this tournament came some saddness as we are going to be losing Jeneece and Brittney as they age up and have to go to older teams.
:( this was hard when the coaches asked Jeneece if she wanted to tell the girls anything and just started crying which in turn made most of us cry.... what a great kid!!!! I could not be prouder of these girls!!! GO FREEZE!!!!!

Field of Dreams

So Ethan got an amazing opportunity to go to the Salt Lake Bees game with his baseball team and go on a tour of EVERYTHING and then they introduced his team to all the fans and during the national anthem they get to stand on the field with the bees player in the main position that they play. They had a blast and got a bunch of the Bees autographs!!!!
