2017

Danny still at Farrs and working TONS of hours and doing good, teaching Sunday school at church. He is such a great teacher and really can teach gospel topics. Joscie still at the church but a promotion came in April and moved to the Events Office! Oh my gosh what a fun job! (Oh just got a new calling after 5 years as camp director YW advisor) I work with The Tabernacle Choir doing many many events a year for them, General Authorities of our church and many other departments. From the depression getting bad in December to being with Keats and helping her heal, The Lord really is in all aspects of our lives and knows what we need and what we need to go through to come out stronger. Kenz started back to school for a Masters degree in Event and Recreation management! It has been a fun program to watch her do! Carson is still at the bike shop and going to school. Forrest  is working for Liberty Electric and doing a FANTASTIC job he is learning so much and his teams really like him. He bought his first truck! Megan has been finishing her Associates Degree and will leave on a Mission to Ohio Cleveland July 5! One of the hardest and best things a mom can do! Keaton is back full force playing LAX and getting ready to start her senior year of high school. Coordinated my very first large event the Tabernacle Choir Pioneer Concert! A couple of weeks after we took Meg to the MTC Keats and I headed to Cali for a big tournament. It is so much fan to watch her play. Then in October we took Toad and Keats on a cruise to Mexico! It was a lot of fun to have together and be on a vacation. I was able to be apart of my first General Conference as a part of the Event office it was AMAZING! December was my first Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert, when I took this job I had no idea all the details that go into this!!! SIMPLY amazing! Christmas we got to talk to Sister Barrow for a few hours to long, but it was so great to see and hear her voice.

2016

2016

This year seemed kind of boring from the last year..... Danny was working at Farrs and loving it! I was working for the Church and loving it finished my MBA in August 2016, my focus for my MBA was international business relations and leadership which sent me to Europe for 3 weeks. Was amazing! So glad I chose this program! May brought Ethan changing jobs and starting work for Liberty Electric (great move). June brought Megan's graduation she officially quit softball and threw Javelin and did AMAZING! Took 1st in region and 5th in state not to bad, I can not believe 3 kids are out of high school. Keats also got her drivers license this year! All kids driving to!!! She also made a comp lacrosse team True and she loved it! Kenz is working and married. Ethan is working full time learning to be an electrician, Meg is finishing her associates degree at SLCC and Keats is in her junior year playing Lacrosse. Then December 2016 I was in a funk I will be honest it had been a year since my grandma died, I just finished my MBA and even though I love working for the Church I wanted a job I could use my education, my kids did not seem to want me around and I was sad. Then I felt like just keep going you can do this! Took the 3 youngest to Disneyland which was fun, but I was just not myself. December 26th the kids went skiing and snowboarding and Keats destroyed her knee as they joke she round house kicked a tree. On December 31st she had a 6 hour knee surgery.... lots to repair and what I needed to get me out of my funk I needed to take care of my baby. It was rough recovery, but we had an amazing doctor! She was playing LAX again by the end of April 2017 and went on to play summer lax she really was a miracle to watch her heal.

2015

2015
The year of more change -Danny is still in Boise (yes this was getting old and we know there is a change coming) Joscie still at Olympus for now, Church at night and starting my MBA. Oh life got crazy! February 2015 Danny quit his job we felt it was time and took the risk! Oh boy! Forrest changed high schools that is another story, but in short it was the best move to make sure he graduated and played water polo which he is great at!
Kenz finished up her Bachelors degree 2 years after she finished high school! Her Great Grandma was so proud!
May 13, 2015 my grandma Norma came to Keats 15th birthday her last family party with us and sang the Norwegian national anthem oh how I wish we had recoded that! Then the Friday before Memorial Day my grandma had a stroke! She lived! It was horrible and scary! June came and Ethan GRADUATED after all his stuff he did it I was so proud of him! Meg finished softball she had a VERY hard Junior year and kept pushing through.
Keats killed it in Lacrosse and went on to play summer ball.
Then July hit... I was given an interesting situation..... And I walked away from Olympus Insurance, I do not want to dwell on what happened other then it forever changed me to see how some people really are and that I do not need to keep them in my life. Thankfully even though our world seemed to get turned upside down we pushed forward! Danny found a job at Farrs ice cream I went full time at the Church as a supervisor. Kenz celebrated 1 year of marriage to Carson and working at the Church, Eth started college and failed out which is fine. Meg started her senior year with cross country, Keats started her sophomore year and playing lacrosse. October we took what would be our last family cruise with EVERYONE more details later.... Southern Caribbean!
Then November my grandma turned 90! She was still suffering from her stroke but she did it she made it to her 90th birthday!
Sadly, December 1st, 2015 one of the most amazing women I have known passed away my Grandma on her husband my grandfathers birthday. Her death brought so much emotion for me. I was not working where she had been working and did not want to be around people who still worked there. I did it, I went to the funeral not for anyone but myself and my kids. My grandma deserved that from us! Even with all the "drama" the year was one that taught me how important family really is and we do not need to keep people around who do not really care about you.

2014

2014

We start another year of more changes, but to start Danny was still in Boise and coming home most every weekend. Joscie still at Olympus and on the last semester of her Bachelors degree! Graduated from the U FINALLY! Then that summer hit me like a ton of brick get a Masters degree.... oh and still camp director.... Finally! Kenz started dating Cason last July and they got serious….HAHA Married June 18! She continued school at the U. Ethan stated senior year then cam cross country at the start of her Junior year. Ethan started his senior year planning to swim and then changed his mind and walked away to play water polo. Meg started her Junior year running cross country and then playing softball. Keats during all the craziness did not get overlooked even if she might have felt like it she finished 8th grade and started 9th grade. Only playing Lacrosse which was FANATIC I love watching her play! To finish out 2014 I started feeling like we needed to make a change Danny had been looking for work and nothing.... I saw a posting for part time night position at the church and thought why not its just a few hours a week and could get me out of the house while Danny was gone. No idea what this crazy move would lead to! And last thing for 2014 Megan had to have surgery to get a lymph node out as she had swollen ones for most of the year.... Came back some what normal showing she had an auto immune issue.
